I (Imrul Kayes) am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of South Florida. I work with Dr. Adriana Iamnitchi in Distributed Systems Lab.

I have completed my B.Sc. Engg. (2009) in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Previously I worked as an Engineer at SoftwarePeople, and Delta Life Insurance Company Limited. I was also a Lecturer in CS department of University of Information and Technology and Sciences, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I am primarily interested in data intensive processing in large-scale distributed systems, privacy and user influence in social ecosystems, semantic web and software testing.
