GRADING GUIDELINES FOR EXAM #1 (EGN 2210 - FALL 1999) ----------------------------------------------------- #1 - 1 pt each "c" through "l" ("a" and "b" not graded). #2 - 1 pt for each DOS command (there are about 9 needed) with 2 pts for the final "dir" command. #3 - 3 pts for purpose, 1 pt for each topic, and 1 pt for each class of design problem. #4 - 2 pts for "a" and "b" each, 3 pts for "c" and "d" each. #5 - 3 pts for C1 and C5 formulas each, 4 pts for C6 formula. #6 - 3 pts for IF, 5 pts for ISERROR, 2 pts for VLOOKUP #7 - (a) 1 pt for each component (-1 if no common bus) (b) 1 pt for "bit patterns", 1 pt for "tells the CPU", 1 pts for "mnemonic", 1 pt for "table look-up", and 1 pt for discussion on how a compiler is much more complex than an assembler. #8 - (a) 1 pt for each definition item, 1 pt for each example (b) 1/2 pt for each step (rounding up the grade) #9 - 1 pt for BEGIN and END each, 2 pts for input, 2 pts for each decision and output pair #10 - 5 pts for counter concept, 2 pts for input, 3 pts for decision, output, and END. ---
